His goal is to show his young patients that visiting the dentist can be a fun and educational experience, and he looks forward to putting your child on the path toward a lifetime of optimal oral health. You can learn a little more about Dr. Cory and his background by reading below. He’s looking forward to meeting you and your child and working with both of you!

Why Did You Decide to Become a Pediatric Dentist?

Unlike many dentists, Dr. Cory never really dreamed of becoming a dentist while he was growing up, which is unlike most dentists! Instead, he told his parents he wanted to be a vet, and he ultimately went to school for pharmacy. However, he eventually decided that he wanted to have more face-to-face time with patients, and there’s nothing better than helping people smile and calming scared children, and walking them through care. During dental school, Dr. Cory found himself spending most of his free time in the pediatric dental clinic. He decided pediatric dentistry was his passion, and the rest is history!

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Cory attended The Ohio State University before moving to Illinois, where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University. From there, he went on to obtain his specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry from Case Western Reserve University and the Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. To keep his knowledge and skills up to date, Dr. Cory is an active member of the following renowned organizations:

  • American Dental Association
  • Illinois State Dental Society
  • American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Cory and Dr. Nicole have two daughters who are their world as well as a beloved Sheepadoodle, named Betty. When he isn’t spending quality time with family, he likes to play tennis, watch any sport that involves OSU, and try out new restaurants around Lake Zurich, where they also live.
